Because let's be honest - no one is reading that post-conference War and Peace. Attention is a valuable thing, but so hard to keep when everyone has busy inner lives and fridge leftovers to think about.
The answer? Break the Powerpoint and Zoom fatigue. Get someone (hello!) who knows how to listen for the diamonds in the readout, the little crunchy insight chips at the bottom of the bag. My work allows people to feel heard and valued, for their words to take on a life outside of the meeting room, and to be more effectively communicated and remembered.
Looking back over the beautifully captured illustration of a session will inform and delight people, and prompt further discussion going forward. A pretty drawing? Nah. I'm capturing ideas, emotions and dreams that were in that room that day.

After years of working in tech, I know how serious info leaks can be, and have had extensive training in digital security. I am always happy to sign an NDA, and for highly sensitive content, I am happy to discuss you preferred process of file transfer, wiping digital footprints, and how (if at all) the work may be shared online. No Men In Black required! (Though I DO look amazing in a suit).

First, we schedule a call to discuss availability, requirements, and overall goals for your event. I'll send over a short proposal, and a quick questionnaire for things like names, key themes or agendas, branding/colours you'd like used, and anything else I need to make the magic happen. If your topic is specialised, you can also send me any reading material you like, so I can listen like an expert! Once that's all filled out and accepted, we arrange a brief chat with the key players of the day - it is important for me to know who is running the show, as well as what tech is available. I'm also happy to talk separately with the AV team, to ensure there are no hiccups on the day.
On the day, I'll arrive early to test the setup one last time, because experience has taught me to always be ready for plan B. All going smoothly, I'll do my thing and inform and delight alongside your talented speakers with live visuals. If you like, I am even able to present a snappy playback at the end, so your audience leaves refreshed and inspired.
After the event, you can relax! I will finalise and format the sketches into all the file types you require, so you get a nicely designed takeaway to keep with you!

The facilitator/graphic recorder duo absolutely works together! You can focus on the group vibes and relationships, while I'm listening and capturing the heart of the discussion. At the end, participants get to SEE their energy and ideas, the “aha!” moments that pass by in a flash. After a workshop, I can also take all those wonderful post-it-nuggets of information, and draw out the collective brainstorm. My pricing and packaging is designed for flexibility, so if you need me for a 1 hour long webinar, or on the ground for a three day conference, it’s easy as. Timezones aren’t an issue either, as I’m open to remote work in other countries. I have a home office for virtual work, and am happy to travel – but if I’m not available, I am well connected with other talented folks all over New Zealand and Australia!
